Seveneves by Neal Stephenson is a novel about humanity’s resilience and imaginative resourcefulness in the face of an Extinction Level Event. And yet, its many flaws notwithstanding, the book remains (mostly) an enjoyable read and one of the most remarkable sci-fi world-building novel of the last decade, at least.
